Juan Cuadrado is still considering his future as a free agent, and believes that “some people are only just beginning to realize what my time at Juventus meant”.

The Colombian international was unable to agree terms for a new contract, so his deal was allowed to expire on June 30. He turns 35 in May and has no intention of hanging up his boots. “I’m proud, and maybe some people are just beginning to realize what my time at Juventus meant. I can only thank God for having played for eight years at this level. I dreamed of it, but I never thought it would be like this, spending so much time there. I hope that, in the future, Colombians who go on to Juventus will also be able to leave this kind of legacy. It fills me with pride,” Cuadrado told AS in Colombia. He made 314 competitive appearances for Juventus, scoring 26 goals and providing 65 assists. The full-back won five Serie A titles with the Old Lady, four editions of the Coppa Italia and two Italian Super Cups.
