Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer could potentially be on the market, with Arsenal and Saudi Arabian clubs interested.
The Algerian international is under contract until June 2027, but Calciomercato.it insists that AC Milan are ready to sell him for around €50 million. They bought him from Empoli in the summer of 2019 for €17.2 million, and he only recently made a comeback after six months out injured with a torn ACL. He has made 15 appearances in all competitions so far this season. The Saudi Pro League had already shown an interest in Bennacer, but the most likely destination is Arsenal. It would be a return to basics for the midfielder, who was already on Arsenal’s books from 2015 to 2017, before his €1 million sale to Empoli in the summer of 2017. AC Milan already have a number of other options in the team, including Yacine Adli, Tijjani Reijnders and Yunus Musah.
