Sky Sport Italia maintains that Tottenham are leading the race for Genoa defender Radu Dragusin despite talks with Napoli and AC Milan.
Dragusin is the most sought-after Serie A defender in the January transfer window, with Tottenham , Napoli , AC Milan and Bayern Munich interested in securing his services this month. Sky Sport Italia confirms that AC Milan have opened negotiations with Genoa, offering Lorenzo Colombo as part of a player swap deal plus cash. According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Dragusin and Colombo’s agents have discussed their clients’transfer values to determine whether an agreement between Genoa and AC Milan would be possible. Di Marzio also confirms that Bayern have expressed an interest in the Romanian international, but Tottenham remain in pole position. Spurs have reportedly offered €25-26 million plus add-ons. This is close to Genoa’s asking price of 30 million euros.
