In a recent media release, Arrigo Sacchi, the legendary Italian coach, who passed through AC Milan, spoke about the club’s misfortune and especially the role of Stefano Pioli in this scenario. For him, his young colleague is just afraid to fail after his victory last year. He should play more relaxed in the next games.
“Then something happened that was not difficult to predict: the success syndrome blocked the team, and Pioli also began to be afraid and, to remedy and stop the bleeding, he relied on tactics. Tacticism, in Italy, always pays off, but always remember that in front of a strategist, a tactician always loses. Pioli was the architect who designed the splendid creature of last season and was able to win thanks to intelligence and ideas. I hope that we will go back to this way and we will be able to do it only if we firmly believe in our ideas”, revealed the 76-year-old.
