Inter have reached a verbal agreement with Bayern Munich and French international Benjamin Pavard, according to Sky Sport Deutschland.

According to reports from Sky journalist Florian Plettenberg, Inter’s offer to Bayern amounts to almost €30 million when all bonuses and add-ons are included, slightly higher than the previously announced figure of €25 million. Bayern have reportedly not rejected Inter’s offer, but are still hoping to receive a little more for the 27-year-old. Previous reports suggest that a figure of between €35 and €40 million would satisfy the Bavarians. Pavard, who is now in the final year of his contract with Bayern, would be Inter’s first-choice option in terms of defenders available on the market. The former World Cup winner has informed Bayern’s CEO of his wish to leave the club this summer, and coach Thomas Tuchel has also been informed of the situation.
