Paulo Dybala has reportedly told Roma that he’s ready to discuss a new contract extending his current deal from 2025 to 2027.

According to Calciomercato.com, La Joya had informed Giallorossi director Tiago Pinto that he didn’t intend to stay at the Stadio Olimpico long-term. He arrived as a free agent last summer after his contract with Juventus expired. The current agreement included a release clause that could be activated at 20 million euros for Serie A clubs and 12 million euros for those outside Italy, but the deal was never pursued. Now that the transfer window has closed, Dybala is looking to the future and sees that he will continue to be with Roma. His contract runs until June 2025, but the Giallorossi hope to extend it until June 2027. This would also entail an increase in salary to €10 million per season, which Roma hope to negotiate downwards.
