Suspended from all football-related activities following a positive test for testosterone, Paul Pogba will be heard before a tribunal very shortly. According to the Italian press, the hearing is due to take place in mid-January.

On August 12, Paul Pogba tested positive for testosterone, a substance banned in soccer. The counter-analysis didn’t clear the 2018 World Champion. A few days ago, the Federal Prosecutor’s Office requested a 4-year suspension for the midfielder. According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, the hearing to hear Paul Pogba will take place in mid-January. This is an opportunity for the player to plead an extenuating circumstance with a view to reducing his sentence. At best, the Juventus Turin resident could reduce his sentence to 2 years. In any case, his contract with the Piedmont club would be terminated if he is found guilty.
