Juventus have just appointed a new coach. His name is Paolo Montero. The Juventus U19 coach will take over as interim coach following the dismissal of Massimiliano Allegri.

Massimiliano Allegri was sacked by Juventus after the Italian Cup final against Atalanta. To replace him, the club has appointed Paolo Montero. The Uruguayan, a former player with the Old Lady, will act as interim coach. The information was confirmed in a press release. “Montero is currently the coach of the Under-19s, who yesterday, May 18, concluded the Primavera 1 Championship. This morning, Sunday May 19, he will conduct his first training session with the team, which he will then lead in the matches against Bologna (Monday 20, 8.45pm at the “Dall’Ara”) and against Monza, at the Allianz Stadium, at a date and time yet to be confirmed. A match that will close the season”, reads the press release.
