Inter president Steven Zhang gave an interview to La Gazzetta Dello Sport. He discussed the club’s new stadium. He spoke of Inter’s desire to share a stadium with neighboring rivals AC Milan. But the Rossoneri’s indecisiveness has cooled Zhang, who now wants to build his own stadium, with or without Lombardy’s second club.
“It’s difficult to accept new things and change pace. Inter and Milan are two competing clubs with the same goal of growth. A common stadium would guarantee this better than two facilities. This has always been Inter’s idea. Milan, on the other hand, has changed owners four times and as many ideas. Could Inter stay at the San Siro? No, our priority is a new stadium, with or without Milan,” said Steven Zhang.
