According to reports in Italy, AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud has signed an 18-month contract with LAFC in MLS from July 2024.

It’s no secret that the veteran forward won’t be extending his current contract with the Rossoneri, which is due to expire on June 30. He is eager to see out his career with a new experience in the United States of America, and is leaning towards Los Angeles FC in particular. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that a basic agreement has now been reached for an 18-month contract starting on July 1, when he will become a free agent. The French international has proved a wonderful investment, contributing 46 goals and 20 assists in 121 competitive games for the club. However, he will be 38 in September and the Rossoneri must look to the future with younger strikers.
