La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Fiorentina and Napoli have opened talks with the agents of Nicolò Zaniolo, who could leave Galatasaray for €20 million in the summer.
Zaniolo is ready to return to Galatasaray after a disappointing loan spell with Aston Villa this season. The former Roma striker scored twice in 23 appearances in all competitions, but played just 736 minutes under Unai Emery. The 24-year-old recently confirmed his desire to return to Serie A and, according to Gazzetta, Fiorentina and Napoli have already entered into preliminary talks with his representatives. According to the report, Napoli are slightly ahead of the Tuscans given that their new sporting director, Giovanni Manna, is a great admirer of Zaniolo and has already tried to bring him to Juventus in the past. The pink newspaper claims that the financial terms of a potential deal match Napoli’s transfer guidelines, as Zaniolo earns around €2.7 million per season and Galatasaray are ready to sell him for €20 million after his return from Aston Villa.
