Just four months after leaving Roma, Nicolo Zaniolo could return to Italy. He is said to be close to Fiorentina, who are working hard to bring him back.
Nicolo Zaniolo left Roma last winter to sign for Galatasaray in Turkey’s top flight. In four months, he played 11 games for 5 goals and an assist. With the end of the season approaching, the Italian attacking midfielder could make a return to Serie A. According to the Italian press, Fiorentina are currently studying his case. President Rocco Comisso is reportedly overseeing the operation in person. An initial offer of €25 million is in the pipeline. A healthy cheque for Galatasaray, who only needed to pay 15 million euros to buy him.
