Juventus are still looking for a winger, and have targeted Fiorentina’s Nico Gonzalez. The Argentinian striker was not called up for last night’s Europa League preliminary match against the Puskas Academy (3-3). Viola sporting director Alessandro Ferrari spoke to Sky Sport before the match about the situation: “There are still 8 days to go before the end of the mercato, and at the moment, the conditions are not right to conclude the deal. In any case, we don’t have any obligation to sell Nico.”

According to Tuttosport, Juventus have made an offer of 32 million euros plus 5 million in bonuses, while Fiorentina are asking for at least 40 million. The deal could be completed with the help of two Turin-based players set to leave, Arthur, who was already in Florence on loan last year, and Filip Kostic.
