According to the latest reports, Renato Sanches has not suffered a serious injury, but remains doubtful for this weekend’s match against Udinese, while Lorenzo Pellegrini is expected to start.
Renato Sanches was feared to be out for another spell after limping off during training with a muscle problem. However, latest reports suggest that the medical staff haven’t found any injury, so he could well be on the bench for this match at least. More importantly, Pellegrini has been training regularly with the rest of the team for some time and is ready for his return to the starting XI. The captain has been out of action since October 5 with a thigh injury, but has hardly played all season due to the recurring muscular injuries that also kept him out in September.
