La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Napoli plan to double Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s salary by the end of the season, hoping to keep him at the Stadio Maradona despite interest from Real Madrid and the Premier League giants.
The Pink Book claims that Napoli are ready to sit down with the 22-year-old player’s agent, who has attracted interest from Europe’s top clubs. “Kvara” earns 1.7 million euros per season and Napoli are aware that they will have to increase his salary to keep the talented winger at the Stadio Maradona until at least 2024. According to the report, Napoli will talk to Kvara’s agent at the end of the season, offering a new contract worth 2.5 million euros plus add-ons until 2028. Kvara has 12 goals and 15 assists in 26 appearances in all competitions and according to the report, Real Madrid and the top Premier League clubs are seriously considering an offer for the player, knowing that their offer can not be less than 100 million euros.
