Napoli have turned their attention to VfB Stuttgart and former Arsenal defender Konstantinos Mavropanos in their bid to replace Kim Min-jae, who officially joined Bayern Munich on Sunday evening, according to Calciomercato.

The 25-year-old center-back has spent the last three seasons with Stuttgart in the Bundesliga, although he wasn’t joined permanently by Arsenal until the start of the 2022-23 campaign. With a valuation of around €10 million, Mavropanos would be a considerably cheaper option than some of the other names Napoli have recently been linked with, most notably Wolves’s Max Kilman and Real Sociedad’s Robin Le Normand, who would probably cost in excess of €40 million. Calciomercato reports that Juventus are also keeping an eye on the Greek international, given the expected departures of Leonardo Bonucci and Alex Sandro in the coming weeks.
