According to reports in England, Brighton and Hove Albion, have turned down an initial offer from Napoli for Billy Gilmour.
Several Italian sources claim that Antonio Conte has firmly set his sights on the Scottish international to improve his midfield after taking over at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. However, the initial offer of £8 million was rejected (around €9.5 million), but they could increase it next week to £12 million. This would be a reunion with Conte, who previously worked with Gilmour at Chelsea before the €8.3 million transfer to Brighton in September 2022. He turned just 23 last month and has made 79 Premier League appearances to his name, with a contract until June 2026.
