Several reports in Italy claim that Napoli has reached a verbal agreement with Hellas Verona to sign Cyril Ngonge.
TMW and Gianluca Di Marzio claim that the two clubs reached an agreement overnight. The deal is worth €10 million plus bonuses, which could bring the final amount to €15 million. According to TMW, club presidents Aurelio De Laurentiis and Maurizio Setti “directly” negotiated and reached a verbal agreement last night. Ngonge will now negotiate personal terms with the reigning Serie A champions, who have already signed Pasquale Mazzocchi from Salernitana and are ready to welcome Hamed Junior Traorè on an initial loan deal with an option to buy from Bournemouth. The 23-year-old has scored six goals in 19 Serie A games this season. He will be the fifth player to leave the Stadio Bentegodi in January.
