It’s already winter. Napoli have no time to lose. The Azzurri have set their sights on Lazar Samardzic. The performances of the young Udinese midfielder have not left the Italian champions indifferent.
The scorer of two goals and as many assists in 17 games for Udinese this season, Lazar Samardzic is a firm favourite with Napoli. The club want to compensate for Zambo Anguissa’s departure for the CAN 2023. The Serbian seems to have the ideal profile to replace the Cameroonian. According to Tuttosport, negotiations have moved very quickly between the parties. Aurelio De Laurentiis’s club will pay 25 million euros for Udinese. The 21-year-old is expected to sign a 5-year contract worth €2 million a year, plus any performance-related bonuses. The deal is expected to be formalized in the next few days.
