Napoli and Real Madrid have finalized an agreement for the transfer of 22-year-old Spanish central defender Rafa Marin. Marin, who has returned to the Casa Blanca after a loan spell at Alaves, will join the Azzurri in the coming days. According to Corriere dello Sport, Marin is expected to arrive in Naples next week to finalize details and undergo a medical.
In addition to Marin, Napoli are also focusing on strengthening their flanks. They are currently in talks to recruit Leonardo Spinazzola, recently released by AS Roma at the end of his contract. The Italian club is looking to conclude a two-year deal with the player via his agent. Although Spinazzola has other options, including one from Saudi Arabia, he would welcome a move to Napoli to work under Conte. Napoli have also reached a financial agreement with Torino for the transfer of Buongiorno. Furthermore, the signing of Lukaku is highly likely in the coming days, demonstrating the club’s clear desire to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season.
