Last Thursday, while AC Milan were playing Slavia Prague in the Europa League, Mike Maignan let his team-mates down after 20 minutes of play. While he underwent a medical examination, it’s safe to say that it was far more a case of fear than harm.
Mike Maignan’s knee seemed to be badly injured last Thursday during the match between AC Milan and Slavia Prague. The French goalkeeper was replaced after 21 minutes by Marco Sportiello. He underwent a medical examination which ruled out any capsulo-ligament damage to the knee, and revealed only a contusion. The former Lille man is expected to train regularly today in Milanello. He should therefore make the trip for the Serie A match against Hellas Verona. This is the 29th matchday in the Italian top flight.
