Moise Kean’s transfer to Atletico Madrid is at a standstill after the club voiced its concerns following the Juventus striker’s medical examination.

Diego Simeone’s side have agreed to sign the 23-year-old Italian on a six-month loan deal worth around €500,000, with no option to buy. He has struggled to impress in Turin this season, making a fresh start a good option for the striker. Kean hasn’t played for Juventus since December 8, when he briefly came off the bench in their 1-0 win over Napoli. He has missed the last nine games with a shin injury, but is expected to return soon. As revealed by Sky Sports Italia, Kean’s transfer to Atletico hit a snag following his medical examination in the Spanish capital on Monday evening. The club’s medical staff found that his shin injury was more serious than that described by his colleagues in Turin, and discussions are currently underway between the two clubs.
