Mike Magnan, AC Milan’s number 1 goalkeeper, is asking for between €6 and €7 million a year to renew his contract until 2028.

The former Lille man is not certain of staying at AC Milan. Currently earning 3.2 million a year, Maignan has demanded that his salary be doubled in order to extend his contract with the Rossoneri. He now wants to earn between 6-7 million euros per season. The AC Milan management believe that their last line of defence is justified in view of his rise to prominence since moving to Italy. Negotiations will only be concluded in the coming weeks, once the winter season is over. The Lombardy club’s management will then decide on the request. An extension would give the club even greater strength, but nothing is certain at this stage. Rumors even point to secret negotiations with Bayern Munich and PSG.
