Japanese midfielder Daichi Kamada joined Lazio Rome this summer after completing his contract at Eintracht Frankfurt. After playing his first match for his new club, the 27-year-old midfielder revealed why he chose the Italian club.
“Maurizio Sarri was decisive in my choice to come to Lazio, a real tactician. I thought I’d play aggressive, precise soccer, it’ll be good for me and I’ll be able to grow as a player. I want to play for him,” he began. He went on to talk about the comparison between himself and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. He declared that they’re two different profiles. “I was impressed by his movements. It’s obvious that he and I have different playing styles, and I think he’s physically superior to me,” concluded the Japanese midfielder.
