Maurizio Sarri left his post as Lazio Rome coach a few weeks ago. The Italian coach, who is currently unemployed, has now given a hint about his future career. Speaking from the stage at the 22nd Niccolò Galli Memorial, he revealed that he was receiving offers, but that there was only one destination he was most interested in.

Maurizio Sarri has spent most of his coaching career in Italy, managing clubs such as Napoli, Juventus and Lazio. He has only had one experience outside Italy. That was with Chelsea in England between 2018 and 2019. Even today, the 65-year-old still has the opportunity to discover soccer abroad. But his choice is rather for a challenge in his native country. “I’m interested in a project, but at the moment I’ve only had offers from abroad. If something comes in from Italy, we’ll evaluate it. I don’t deny that I could go there,” he declared.
