Juventus kick off their Serie A campaign today with a trip to face Udinese. But before then, the club, and especially its coach Massimiliano Allegri, have not yet given up on the idea of bringing Romelu Lukaku to the club. According to the Italian press, negotiations are still underway with a view to completing the deal this summer.
When asked about Romelu Lukaku’s arrival at Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri, the club’s current coach, was somewhat evasive on the matter. However, Il Corriere Dello Sport recently reported that Chelsea and Juventus are still negotiating to complete the deal. The Vlahovic – Lukaku swap is therefore still on the table. The white smoke could come out this summer. As a reminder, in addition to the swap, the Londoners would have to pay the Piedmont club €40 million.
