Leandro Bonucci is no longer part of Juventus’ plans for next season. Massimiliano Allegri has therefore withdrawn his captain’s armband and appointed a new one to his squad.

Juventus defender Danilo, who has been with the club since 2019, will be Juventus’ new captain for next season. This is how coach Massimiliano Allegri has decided. He has also named the Brazilian’s deputies. He made this clear in an interview with Gazzetta Dello Sport. They are Alex Sandro and French international Adrien Rabiot. “There will be two of them: Alex Sandro and Rabiot. When the former isn’t playing, it’ll be the latter’s turn, as Adrien should be moving up the pecking order,” said Max Allegri.
