Massimiliano Allegri looks increasingly likely to leave Juventus in the summer and has found himself in the sights of Napoli, reports Il Mattino.

The 56-year-old Italian coach still has just over a year left on his contract with the Bianconeri, but is expected to be sacked in the summer, allowing director Cristiano Giuntoli to start building a new project in Piedmont. Napoli have yet to choose a new long-term coach ahead of Francesco Calzona’s likely exit in the summer, but have been linked with a handful of options, including Antonio Conte, Vincenzo Italiano, Stefano Pioli and even Gian Piero Gasperini. As reported by Il Mattino via TuttoJuve, Giovanni Manna is ready to take over as Napoli sporting director and is considering the idea of bringing Allegri to the Campania coast after his likely sacking from Juventus in the summer. The old lady could look to terminate the coach’s contract a year early by paying half his salary, which would allow him to connect with the Partenopei.
