The adventure between FC Sion and Mario Balotelli may be coming to an end. The Italian forward is in advanced discussions with a Romanian club. Super Mario would have put his condition. If the club gives in, the deal could be finalized in the first hours of the opening of the summer mercato.
While his contract expires with FC Sion in June 2024, Mario Balotelli may not stay in Switzerland. On 6 goals in 18 games this season, he could already pack his bags at the end of the season. According to gsp.ro, Rapid Bucharest, a club of the Romanian elite, would be on the trail of the former Olympique de Marseille player. Adrian Mutu, former Inter player and current coach of the club, is in charge of the negotiations. Super Mario is reportedly asking for a signing bonus of one million euros. For the time being, the talks have not yet led to a formal agreement.
