The man who scored three goals in five games this season is due to undergo surgery and could be out of action for two to three months. Club president Murat Sancak announced the news on social media. “He (Mario Balotelli, editor’s note…) has been injured but has made himself available if needed,” he wrote. The 33-year-old centre-forward will therefore not play again this year.
