Marco Rossi, former Italian player and current Hungary coach, was asked about a return to Italy as a coach. His answer was very clear. He doesn’t want to return to coach in his native country, and gives his reasons. He also talks about his future aspirations, including a successful Euro 2024 campaign.
“No, and I think that’s a closed discussion forever. On both sides, however, I would be seen by everyone as a gamble, so at my age I prefer to work with those who watch the results and are happy with me. Hungary forever? I have a contract until December 2025, at the end of the World Cup qualifiers. Let’s play the European Championship first, and live to the full this adventure we’ve achieved with merit and passion. Then we’ll see,” Marco Rossi told Il Giornale.
