TMW claims that Manchester City would look to move Inter star Nicolo Barella if they were to sell Bernardo Silva.
The report details how the Citizens are currently negotiating the possible sale of the Portuguese winger with Paris Saint-Germain, setting a price of €100 million for the 28-year-old, who has two years left on his contract. Should they finalize the sale of Silva, Manchester City would then turn their attention to Barella. Pep Guardiola was impressed by the Italian’s quality, mentality and leadership qualities. It is not yet known how much they could offer Inter, but it is clear that the Nerazzurri do not want to sell the 26-year-old, having already rejected an approach from Newcastle United this summer. Inter could ask City to match the fee paid by Arsenal for Declan Rice, said to be in the region of 120 million euros. Barella is under contract with the Italian team until June 2026 and has become a talismanic figure since his initial arrival in 2019.
