With just a few days to go before the UEFA Champions League final, Edin Dzeko has admitted that Manchester City are favourites to beat Inter Milan. However, this is no reason to admit defeat. He believes the Nerrazzuri have a place in the final and will have to fight for the title.
“They’re the favourites, we know that and everyone says so, but we certainly won’t go out there just to watch them play soccer. I don’t think there are teams who reach the final without deserving it, because there are so many strong teams in the Champions League and if you reach the final it means you deserve it and deserve to play the most important match of all. We’ll do our best and see how it goes,” the Inter centre-forward told BT Sport.
