After months of uncertainty, Luis Alberto has reportedly put pen to paper on a new long-term contract with Lazio .
The 30-year-old Spaniard is no stranger to controversy in the Italian capital, and this summer has been no exception. Maurizio Sarri has made it clear that he wants the midfielder to extend his contract, but negotiations with Claudio Lotito have not proved straightforward. As reported by Calciomercato.com, Luis Alberto has now put pen to paper on a new five-year contract with Lazio, worth around €4 million net per season plus add-ons. Earlier this summer, the 30-year-old was linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, but turned down several approaches in order to move forward in the Italian capital.
