March sees another international break, with matches to be played by national teams. This is also the case for Italy. As the international games approach, Luciano Spalletti, Italy’s national coach, has decided to ban players from the Play Station, especially on the eve of matches.
“I have to put up with cell phones, but they can’t be kept on the massage table or during treatments. I’ve talked about video games because there were things I didn’t like and please write the “no” in capital letters. I want to revive the gatherings and retreats of the past: the old habits and atmospheres. Simple, healthy things. And Buffon will help me. If modernity means playing Playstation until 4 a.m. when there’s a match the next day, then that’s no good,” the national coach told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
