Turkey coach Vincenzo Montella spoke to Sport Week. He praised Italy coach Luciano Spalletti as a great coach.
Vincenzo Montella, who has worked under Luciano Spalletti, spoke highly of the latter. He also hopes he’ll qualify Italy for Euro 2024 and that a friendly match will be played between Turkey and Italy. “We sent each other messages. I’ve had him as a coach, and he’s always been my favorite. For me, he’s a top-level coach and I hope that as an Italian he’ll take Italy to the European Championship. It would be great to organize a friendly match between Italy and Turkey in March,” declared Vincenzo Montella.
