Roberto De Zerbi, coach of Brighton in England, gave an interview to the Gazzetta Dello Sport. The Italian coach praised the merits of Luciano Spalletti. He also believes he would be a good fit to replace Roberto Mancini at the helm of the Azzurri.
Roberto De Zerbi identifies with Luciano Spalletti. He thinks he has the same vision as Spalletti, except that he is much younger. He also believes that the Tuscan coach has what it takes to succeed Roberto Mancini. “Winning the game. A coach who is no longer young, but who still wants to improve. Like me, but twenty years younger. If I look at myself in twenty years’ time, I don’t see myself as intense. Attention to detail is what makes him great. That’s where we’re similar. Him, the post-Mancini era? He deserves it, and I’m sure he’ll do very well,” said the Brighton coach.
