Leonardo Bonucci has expressed his desire to leave Union Berlin this winter. In the meantime, the former Juventus star had been rumoured to be moving to Roma. In the end, however, he is likely to move to Turkey. He has reportedly reached an agreement with Fenerbahçe.
Leonardo Bonucci heads for Turkey. The 36-year-old defender has reportedly agreed a contract with Fenerbahçe. The contract is for 6 months, renewable automatically on certain conditions and the achievement of certain targets. The Turkish club’s coach Ismail Kartal is delighted with the player’s arrival, and the effort made by his management. “We had several alternatives. It’s difficult to make a transfer like this during the winter window. I spoke to my president and the management about the possibility of taking Bonucci, among the alternatives. I thank them, they made a great effort to bring”, said Ismail Kartal.
