After a season on loan at Juventus Turin from Paris Saint-Germain, Leandro Paredes has to make a choice about the next step in his career. Rumors are swirling about a return to Argentina with Boca Juniors. However, the world champion has ruled out this possibility and wants to continue in Europe.
“Today, it’s not in my head to go back. I’m 28, I’m young and I want to continue in Europe. I talked about it with my family, my friends and Roman (Riquelme). He told me to keep having fun”. He goes on to talk about the Argentinian coach’s motivation to stay at the top level. “Scaloni has been very clear about the fact that he wants us to play, no matter where, but that we are physically fit, we have continuity and that’s everyone’s priority,” Paredes, scorer of one goal and one assist in 35 games with Juventus, told TyC Sports.
