Maurizio Sarri is lobbying to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi, but Lazio bosses may be dropping the Chelsea winger due to doubts over his fitness.
Sarri is a long-time admirer of Hudson-Odoi, who scored five goals in 24 appearances under the Italian tactician at Chelsea in 2018-19. However, LaLazioSiamoNoi reports that Lazio bosses are unsure about making a significant investment in Hudson-Odoi, mainly due to his poor physical form. Hudson-Odoi suffered an Achilles tendon injury at Chelsea a year ago and didn’t play regularly during his loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen.
