Lazio are looking for a versatile striker for the trident attack, with Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi their first choice, but Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi could be more affordable.
The Biancocelesti have qualified for the Champions League and therefore need more options in the squad for coach Maurizio Sarri to rotate. According to Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla, the main alternative is Chelsea player Hudson-Odoi, who has already worked with Sarri at Stamford Bridge. The 22-year-old can play on the right or left of attack, and could be allowed to move on loan with an option to buy. He has just completed a loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen, where he made 21 competitive appearances, contributing one goal and one assist. Other options for Lazio include Riccardo Orsolini from Bologna and Matteo Politano from Napoli , but again, they would be more expensive.
