According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Lazio will resume Mason Greenwood talks with Manchester United this week after the Red Devils rejected an offer of €20 million plus a 50% clause on the next sale.

Lazio are keen to sign Manchester United winger Greenwood and will resume talks with the Premier League club this week, according to the latest report from Il Corriere dello Sport newspaper. Greenwood has attracted interest from a number of other clubs in Europe after a convincing one-year loan spell at Getafe, ending with eight goals and six assists in 33 La Liga appearances. Lazio president Claudio Lotito has long been an admirer of the 22-year-old, and tried to sign him last year before Greenwood joined Getafe. Juventus have also been in talks with Manchester United, but Corriere Delo Sport confirms that the Red Devils won’t sell Greenwood for less than €40 million this summer. The report claims that Lazio have already submitted an offer worth €20 million plus a 50% sell-on clause, but Manchester United have rejected it. Atletico Madrid and Roberto De Zerbi’s Olympique Marseille are also keeping an eye on the English winger.
