Lazio confirm on their Twitter page that Ciro Immobile has been diagnosed with a grade I thigh strain and it remains to be seen how long he will be out.
The Italian striker was forced out with an injury in the 2-0 win at Sassuolo on Sunday afternoon. It is a new blow for the 32-year-old striker, who has already missed several games in the fall for a problem in the left thigh. He underwent the necessary tests at the Paideia clinic in Rome last night and a statement from Lazio confirms that there’s a grade I tear in the right thigh semitendon. Indeed, Immobile has already begun physical therapy and will be monitored daily. More tests will be done in the next few days to have a clearer idea of the duration of his absence, but this type of problem will require at least a few weeks.
