Lazar Samardzic has reiterated his desire to join AC Milan this month as talks continue with his representatives and Udinese.
The 22-year-old Serbian midfielder has been on the verge of leaving the Friulian club on several occasions over the last 12 months, with suitors including Inter, Juventus and Napoli. With two years to go, now could be the right time for a move to be made. AC Milan are serious about strengthening Paulo Fonseca’s midfield this summer and have added Samardzic to their shortlist alongside Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana. The club is also working on a contract for Tottenham full-back Emerson Royal. According to Corriere dello Sport, Samardzic and his entourage have been in constant contact with AC Milan over the last few days and have reassured the club of their desire to complete a transfer this month. The Rossoneri are now working on an offer for Udinese, who have made it clear that they are not interested in any player in exchange.
