Atalanta are still without star midfielder Teun Koopmeiners for today’s Serie A clash with Lazio, as they defend fourth place.
Despite dropping a game against Inter, La Dea still lead the way in this precious fourth Champions League spot, and will face a direct rival for Europe on Sunday afternoon. Lazio are only two points behind them once again, with a game in hand due to their participation in the Supercoppa Italiana in Saudi Arabia last month. Koopmeiners was hoping to make a comeback from injury, but is still out of action, alongside Jose Luis Palomino and January signing Isak Hien. Ademola Lookman, who can’t seem to stop scoring for Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations, is also unavailable. Charles De Ketelaere and Gianluca Scamacca could therefore start again with Mario Pasalic in the trequartista role. As for Lazio, Danilo Cataldi is suspended with Mattia Zaccagni and Gil Patric injured. Nicoló Rovella is also not 100% fit, while Maurizio Sarri must choose between Ciro Immobile, back from suspension, and Taty Castellanos.
