Former Juventus Turin player Massimo Mauro believes Juventus have what it takes to win the Scudetto. For him, the fact that the club’s directors say the objective is fourth place to reach the Champions League is an understatement. He believes the Old Lady want to win it to succeed Napoli.
“Everyone at Juve, from John Elkann to Max Allegri to Cristiano Giuntoli, says that the goal is fourth place, to take part in the Champions League next season. But beware. Saying that the goal is to get into the Champions League by finishing in the top 4 doesn’t mean that they can’t reach first place. It seems to me to be a communication ploy to relieve themselves of the responsibility of having to win the championship, even though deep down they want to win it”, Massimo Mauro told Tuttosport.
