Juventus informed Leonardo Bonucci this summer that they were no longer counting on him for next season. The player has been asked to find a replacement. Juve didn’t wait for the situation to clear up, however, and have already excluded the player from their professional squad. A more radical solution would be to terminate the Italian’s contract.
Juventus Turin and Leonardo Bonucci are at loggerheads. The player, who has scored 35 goals in 532 appearances, is no longer part of the club’s future plans. He has been asked to leave. While he is still looking for a club, he has been ousted from the squad. A situation which has not pleased the captain, who has asked to be reinstated. The club won’t give in to his demands. Worse still, the Old Lady is even considering terminating the contract of the legendary Italian defender.
