Juventus are preparing to reward highly-rated teenager Kenan Yildiz with a new long-term contract offer, and have begun discussing the idea with the 18-year-old’s representatives.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus were able to speak briefly with Yildiz’s agent, who was present at the Old Lady’s 3-0 victory over Sassuolo on Tuesday evening. Yildiz’s family were also present at the Allianz stadium earlier in the week. Juventus’s meeting with Yildiz’s entourage on Tuesday was not an official meeting, but more formal discussions are planned for the coming months. It is believed that Juve will try to sign Yildiz on a long-term deal until the summer of 2028 or 2029. Yildiz is currently under contract with the Bianconeri until the summer of 2027, but a further extension is also likely to be accompanied by a significant pay rise after an impressive start to life in the Juve first team. La Gazzetta reports that a contract extension could be made official in June or July.
