Several reports in Italy claim that Juventus have opened talks to sign Jean Clair TODIBO after UEFA blocked the Frenchman’s transfer to Manchester United.
According to all the Italian sports papers, Juventus are interested in OGC Nice defender Todibo and have opened preliminary talks with the French club. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Nice’s asking price is around €40 million, the same transfer fee they agreed with Manchester United. According to Corriere dello Sport, Juventus can reach an agreement for around €35 million. The directors of Juventus and Nice are on good terms, having recently reached an agreement for the transfer of Khephren Thuram. The French midfielder is due to undergo his medical with the Bianconeri next week. Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior is also on Juventus’s agenda, but according to Gazzetta and Corriere dello Sport, he is the Old Lady’s “Plan B”, even though the Polish international previously played under Thiago Motta at Spezia.
