With Mattia De Sciglio out for the rest of the season with a serious knee injury, Juventus could turn to NextGen talent Tommaso Barbieri.

The Bianconeri have already shown throughout the campaign that they can pluck young players from their Serie C squad and regularly throw them into the senior team. De Sciglio will be out for several months after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament in his knee, leaving only Juan Cuadrado to play on the right wing. Max Allegri may therefore have to dig into the NextGen squad for more reinforcements before the end of the campaign, where they are pushing for a top four finish in Serie A and will face Sevilla in the Europa League semi-final. Although primarily a right-back, the 20-year-old can also play on the left flank, making him a valuable tactical replacement for the equally versatile De Sciglio.
